Our MissionThe Osteoporosis Diagnostic Center is New Mexico's only center that is 100% dedicated to the diagnosis of osteoporosis. One in two women and one in eight men will have an osteoporosis related fracture in their lifetime. Through early diagnosis, it is our sincere hope is to prevent debilitating fractures as a result of osteoporosis.
Company ProfileSince 1997 our center has been providing the highest quality of osteoporosis diagnosis to the people of New Mexico. We are the only service that offers office based bone density testing as well as a mobile bone density service that travels throughout the entire state. Our patients tell us it is so refreshing to come to a medical office where the staff is pleasant and treat them as a person. Patients in rural areas are particularly grateful for our mobile service. Staff: Elliot S. Pierce, MD, CD, Medical Director. Dr. Pierce is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist. When your bone density exam is read by Dr. Pierce, you can have peace of mind that your exam was interpreted correctly. Osteoporosis diagnosis is all he does unlike other centers where the reading physician's have other areas of medicine to take care of.
